The above two pictures illustrates my 6.5" flat wrist with my 39mm Explorer. Since the distance across my wrist is ~51mm, the lugs do not extend beyond the confines of my wrist . 6.3 inch wrist here, and I wore an EXP II no problem at all. They are both fantastic, but considering that my wrist size is just under 7", if I could only keep one, I'd keep the 36mm 14270. Great glossy dial, perfect layout, feels super . The only item missing for me is the great Easylink extension on the 39mm model.

Just from a fit perspective, the Explorer and the YM 37 look the best on your wrist. The YM is going to be closest to the Submariner, so that’s probably the way to go. If you really love the Sub and it’s something you will always want, fuck it and just get the Submariner. I have a 6'5" wrist and agree less than 40mm is the sweet spot. The BB58 fits very well and is 39mm (I think). 34mm - 40mm seems about right depending on the style.

One of the great mysteries of this forum is reading a thread full of 6 inch wrists convincing each other that their SkyDwellers and DeepSeas fit just fine.followed by threads insisting that the 39mm Explorer needed to be 3mm smaller to fit even average size wrists.

I have owned a neo vintage 14270 Explorer as well as the 39mm (which I felt was larger than the original design and lacked the “style” of the 36mm), and finally my current Explorer, a 2021 era 124270 36mm on my 7.25” wrist. I believe it to be a proper classical size in the manner of Rolex. But the fit of the watch heavily depends on the shape of your wrist along with the size. My simple take on that is the lug to lug length value should never be more than the width of the middle 3 fingers!I wear a 34mm, and I would wear a 32mm without thinking twice, but it's hard to find perfect proportions for my 6 inch wrist. Tangente Duo is my best bet.Hi guys, if you have seen my other videos, you would know that I have been trying to show you all how 40mm rolex sports look on 6.5"/6.75" wrist. This time I.
