If you're a regular on the forum you've probably seen some of his other insane builds. He does some incredible work. Hoping to find the right buyer who appreciates the oddball 116600 reference. For those who are curious, I was able to insure this as a custom build on my insurance policy without issue. Searching the parts section I came across a full bezel assembly, a crown, crystal, and a handset as well. At this point I decided I would hunt down a 116600 rep and just build the damn watch. Back in 2019-2020 I was lucky as the Noob 116600 came up for sale fairly often. I was able to snag a v2 m2m within a month. The SD4K 116600. What a watch, and it had such a short lifespan. From what I can gather, the Noob v2 was the best rep. The later v7 and v8 were fitted with a Submariner bracelet and therefore the SEL fit was way off. I think that the 116600 has a lot going for it to be considered the "best modern Rolex dive watch". However, I personally think that it's been surpassed by the 41mm Sub now that Rolex has toned down those square super case lugs. The new Sub has a leg up on the 116600 in some ways: improved lume, updated movement, and thinner case. In my opinion the 116600 is the greatest dive watch ever made by Rolex or anyone else. I just love the proportions and the way it’s so over built yet still 40mm. Back in 2015/2016, the SD4k’s sold on here for as low as 00 as it just wasn’t that desirable.

I actually think the newer SD43 is undervalued, it does really well with combining the past (red lettering) with the modern (movement, cyclops, size), the proportions are right on the money.
