I just dropped it off at Barneys to be sent out for handle repair. After 2 years of use, handle became sticky and started to transfer on my clothing. SA said it will take about 6 weeks which is not that bad.I just received my refurbished Goyard back and it completely exceeded my expectations on ALL levels. Perfection all the way around! You can tell they really care about the customer. My entire experience was a pleasure from phone calls to finished product. MY bag but it’s better than ever.
Please refrain from use of the item in the meantime and bring your Goyard item along with the original purchase receipt and name to our boutique where we can assist you in registering the repair for changing the handles of your tote.
I asked Goyard to simply replace the handles due to the cracking. They refused to do it free of charge. This is a clearer photo of the cracking which in my opinion looks worse after it went to Goyard which is odd.If the leather is severely worn or disintegrated, we can create a replacement.
