I'd say the perfect size for me is the DD40 size, that being said I'll take the DJ41 (that doesn't look too large on me) over the DJ36 (that looks too small on me) any day of the week. Definitely not too small. If you usually wear a 41mm or bigger, it may take your eyes to adjust to the “smaller” size but 36mm is not small. My wrist is 7.18” inch in circumference.
