What’s the difference between dark rhodium and slate
Slate looks more like a matte dial where rhodium looks more like a sunburst dial. Or think of it as slate is a poorer sounding pressing of the same vinyl album. Side-by-side the rhodium looks dynamic and fascinating while the slate looks muted and dulled by comparison.Personally, I only like the Wimbledon dial in a two tone configuration. I just sold my DJ II with rhodium diamond dial that I also had for close to 10 years. To my knowledge the newer slate dial is different than the older rhodium dial was but I could be wrong.

I have been looking at 16220 Roman models (Serial T through F), and I can not tell the difference between Rhodium and Silver dials. Some say the Rhodium dial is 'lighter' and more 'silvery'. Others say the Rhodium dial is 'darker'. Do you think the historic platinum dial or the new rhodium is better? I prefer the brightness and exclusivity of platinum and the baby-blue details of rhodium. Basically I would be more oriented towards the historical, but difficult to find in the 6 .
