I never loved the tassel detail on the Mini Lou because it makes the bag heavier than it already is, and more cumbersome as it can get tangled with the chain strap. The camera is just an open box whereas the small has an internal divider with zipper section. My guess is they can carry roughly the same amount but with the camera it would all be thrown in and in the small it would be more organized. Note neither will carry a LOT - they aren’t huge bags.

If you want something that you can throw around without getting any marks or damage, then the YSL is probably a . Now, I will say that the YSL Mini Lou seems to have much more positive reviews and I did recently purchase one of those in grey (the leather is pebbled so it is less likely to scratch, but it is smaller than either of the bags you listed). The quality seems so-so, but it is cute. I have a Gucci Soho, but it is in patent leather, so I can't .
