Never entirely sure if I liked the look of its minimalist dimensions, being an unusually tall and heavy framed guy, I'd traditionally shied away from ‘ PACA ‘ styled low vis plate carriers. Ultimately, LV-MBAV ops are light ones, where additional kit is stashed in a vehicle/pack. You can't really put a whole lot on an LV-MBAV. Also, just a quick terminology point, a "MAP" is a specific term for a pack that attaches via MOLLE (primarily, there are spine maps and other variants out there.). I also had 3 MARSOC kits 2 based around the LV-MBAV, and one based around the MBAV. I really liked all three setups but because the variations were so extreme in a sense I could just nitpick from each kit to build just one kit.
