That'll be the 'right' way to test it out. To me, 216570 is better in every way, except that it is too big. The maxi dial, larger hands, orange 24 hour hand, and improved bracelet and clasp are nice improvements over the 16570. I have a 6.5" wrist and the 216570 is too big for me. I will admit that 42mm is close to the minimum size I can pull off, but I really think the 216570 is perfectly situated and modest on a large wrist.
